Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TG Edit-Pdf (“we”, “us”), a service operated by Taksha Groups, collects, uses, and protects information when you use https://pdf-edit.tech (the “Service”). We have designed TG Edit-Pdf to be privacy-first: the documents you process are handled transiently and are not stored on our servers.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

The Service is operated by Taksha Groups. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at takshagps@gmail.com.

2. The files you upload

When you use a tool, your file is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our processing server, processed in memory to produce your result, and then discarded. We do not deliberately persist your uploaded files or their output to long-term storage, and we do not read, sell, share, or use the contents of your documents for any purpose other than performing the operation you requested.

Temporary copies may exist on the server only for the brief duration of processing (and, for some conversions, in an automatically-cleaned temporary directory) and are removed promptly afterwards. You should always keep your own backup of important files.

3. Information processed automatically
  • Technical/log data: IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring page, and timestamps. This is used to operate the Service, ensure security, prevent abuse, and apply rate limiting.
  • Local storage (not cookies): your theme preference, interface language, and recent-activity list are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. They never leave your device and we cannot read them.
  • Advertising & analytics (if enabled): if advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) or analytics are enabled, those third parties may set cookies or use identifiers as described in their own policies.
4. Cookies and similar technologies

The core Service uses only essential, on-device local storage and does not require advertising cookies to function. If and when third-party advertising is enabled, partners such as Google may use cookies to serve and personalise ads. Where required by law, we will request your consent before such cookies are set, and you can manage preferences via your browser or the consent controls provided. See Google’s policies at policies.google.com.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK GDPR)
  • Performance of a service you request (processing your file).
  • Legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service and preventing abuse.
  • Consent, where required, for advertising/analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with: (a) infrastructure/hosting providers that run the Service on our behalf; and (b) advertising/analytics providers if those features are enabled. These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their services.

7. International data transfers

The Service may be operated from, and data processed in, countries other than your own (including India). Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where legally required.

8. Data retention

Uploaded files and their outputs are not retained after processing. Server logs are kept only for as long as necessary for security and operational purposes and are then deleted or anonymised.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA/UK have these rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA (including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them, and the right to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” — note we do not sell personal information); residents of Canada (PIPEDA), Brazil (LGPD), and other regions have comparable rights. To exercise any right, email takshagps@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use HTTPS encryption in transit and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
